Full stack software engineer

I’m working at Camarasoft as a Full Stack Engineer.

I am responsible for developing new features for the company’s flagship product, a high-traffic classifieds website with millions unique visitors per day.

My role involves implementing core application functionalities, with a strong focus on online payment systems. I work with modern technologies, including Python, Django, FastAPI, Vue3, Docker, and more.

  • Optimized code for desktop and mobile with high performance and low resource usage
  • Global team collaboration using Agile (Scrum).
  • DevOps operations with cloud tools (Nomad, Docker, AWS).
  • Scalable and covered by tests code.

During this journey, I found myself increasingly fascinated by the world of AI and its profound impact on the developer’s craft — both in empowering productivity and reshaping the way we approach problem-solving.

I took the opportunity to dive deep into cutting-edge AI tools, learning how to leverage them to write cleaner, more efficient code, and to rethink my workflow with a focus on quality and performance.

Full stack engineer (consultant for SolarTurbines)

As a consultant for a leading company in the energy sector, I worked as a Full Stack Engineer on the development of a critical internal tool designed to collect, process, and visualize real-time data from energy turbines deployed worldwide.

On the backend, I used Django and Django REST Framework extensively to build secure and scalable APIs, as well as core business logic for data aggregation, alerting, and reporting functionalities.

On the frontend, I developed user interfaces using Angular, focusing on real-time data visualization, dashboards, and user-friendly admin tools.

This project involved working closely with data engineers and system architects to ensure smooth integration with the existing infrastructure and data pipelines, making performance and maintainability top priorities.

Frontend engineer

I worked on the company’s core software platform built with Angular and AngularJS, where my primary responsibility was to develop and integrate new applications into a large-scale monorepo architecture.

I contributed to the design and implementation of various key modules, leveraging Angular Material to ensure consistency in UI/UX and responsiveness across devices.

Beyond coding, I also led a team of 5 developers, helping coordinate frontend development efforts, conducting code reviews, and supporting junior team members.

This role deepened my expertise in component-based architecture and scalable frontend development in a collaborative Agile environment.

Web designer

I worked as a freelance web designer, developing websites and web applications for small local businesses.
This experience gave me the opportunity to explore various aspects of the web development world, from client communication and design to implementation and deployment.

During these years, I developed a deep passion for the web and all its creative and technical possibilities. I built my personal website (fabiobiffi.com) to showcase my work and experiment with new ideas, and I quickly became an enthusiastic WordPress user and developer, often customizing themes and plugins to meet the specific needs of my clients.

Through hands-on experience, I gained solid skills in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, which allowed me to build responsive, user-friendly, and functional websites from scratch. This period laid the foundation for my continued growth as a developer and shaped the technical mindset I still carry today.
